Scott P. Anderson currently serves as Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Ports America. He was appointed Chairman in 2024 and assumed the additional role of Interim Chief Executive Officer in July 2026.
Mr. Anderson is an experienced executive, board director, and advisor with leadership experience across the healthcare, logistics, real estate, and private investment sectors. He spent more than 25 years with Patterson Companies, Inc., serving as President and Chief Executive Officer from 2010 to 2017 and Chairman of the Board from 2013 to 2017. He later served as a Senior Advisor until his retirement in 2019. Earlier in his career, he held several senior leadership roles within Patterson’s dental business.
Mr. Anderson also serves as a Senior Advisor to TPG Capital, where he focuses on healthcare investments, and leads the Executive Council of Carlson Private Capital.
From 2012 to 2024, he served on the board of C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc., including as Independent Chairman from 2018 to 2022 and Interim Chief Executive Officer from January through June 2023. He previously served on the board of Duke Realty Corporation and currently serves on the boards of Covetrus, A-dec, Omaha Steaks, Lakeshirts, Inc., and The Bernard Group.
Mr. Anderson also served as a Trustee of Gustavus Adolphus College, including as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College.
